BYD delivers more than 2000 cars of 8 different models to customers in Egypt during 146 days and leads the new energy vehicle market with sales exceeding 20%.

BYD, through its official agent ManDream, announced an unprecedented achievement in the Egyptian market within 146 days of the brand’s official launch, to lead the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) market with a market share exceeding 20%, an achievement that reflects its speed of development and its ability to achieve a strong presence in the New Energy Vehicle market during
period of time.

During the same period, BYD was able to deliver more than 2,000 cars to customers, and carry out more than 2,500 test drives, which contributed to the spread of electric and hybrid cars and increased demand for new mobility solutions in the Egyptian market.

One of the most prominent achievements achieved by BYD during the record period was the launch of 8 new models of electric and hybrid cars in the Egyptian market within 146 days only, in an unprecedented step for a new car brand in the market, while offering a diverse portfolio to meet the needs of different segments of customers. These models include electric cars including Dolphin Surf EV and Sealion 6 EV, SUV cars including Sealion 6 DMi, Sealion 5 DMi and Ti7 DMi, family cars with seven seats including Atto 8 DMi and M9 DMi, and pick up cars – Shark 6

BYD’s achievements extended to the social and educational fields, where it welcomed more than 1,000 students in interactive educational experiences in cooperation with Wellspring, becoming the first initiative of its kind for a car brand in Egypt that aims to spread awareness of new energy vehicle technologies among the new generations.

In addition to its efforts to enhance customer experience and spread awareness of new energy vehicle technologies, BYD has a network of technology centers and service centers across the country, allowing customers a comprehensive experience that combines learning about the latest electric and hybrid vehicle technologies and obtaining after-sales services according to the highest standards. By the end of 2026, the company aims to reach 20 technology centers and 7 service centers in various parts of the country, in support of its expansion plans and enhancing customer experience.
