The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts continued chances of light to moderate rainfall across scattered areas of the country, along with a drop in temperatures during the night and morning hours on Wednesday.
Autumnal weather will prevail, feeling slightly hot during the day along the North Coast, Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo, and northern Upper Egypt, while remaining very hot in southern Upper Egypt.
Temperatures will be moderate in the early evening, growing cool late at night and in the early morning.
Forecasts indicate a likelihood of light to moderate rain across scattered parts of the North Coast and the northern Lower Egypt.
There is also a slight chance of light rain in areas of the southern Lower Egypt, the Suez Canal cities, central Upper Egypt, South Sinai, and the southern cities of Halayeb and Shalateen — this precipitation may extend with a low probability to parts of Greater Cairo.
Maximum temperatures for Wednesday are:
- 26C on the northwestern coasts
- 27C on the northeastern coasts
- 28C in Lower Egypt
- 30C in Greater Cairo
- 31C in northern Upper Egypt
- 36C in southern Upper Egypt
The EMA noted that winds will be active across most areas, with speeds ranging between 30-40 km/h, helping to moderate temperatures in the shade and during the night.
The Authority emphasized the need to take necessary preparations and measures to mitigate the impact of the expected weather conditions.
