The United Bank Records Robust H1 2026 Growth, Total Assets Reach EGP 117 Billion

CAIRO — The United Bank maintained its upward growth trajectory during the first half of 2026, driven by an expansionary strategy focused on scaling banking operations and widening its customer base while sustaining strong asset quality and risk management metrics.
The financial results underscore the bank’s ability to achieve balanced growth, effectively expanding its asset and deposit bases while simultaneously scaling up financing and credit facilities to meet the evolving demands of corporate and retail clients. Operating indicators reflected positive momentum, highlighting the bank’s capacity for sustainable profitability.
The loan portfolio emerged as a primary growth engine during this period, recording a sharp increase compared to the end of 2025. This expansion was coupled with enhanced credit quality and a declining non-performing loan (NPL) ratio, reinforcing the bank’s strong financial position and supporting its future expansion plans.
