Thndr Tops Egyptian Exchange Brokerage Rankings with Trades Exceeding 21 Billion EGP

Thndr Securities Brokerage topped the ranking of brokerage firms operating in the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) in terms of trading value during the past week’s trading. The firm achieved a clear dominance over the main market, the over-the-counter (OTC) market, and the small and medium enterprises (SME) market, after single-handedly accounting for more than one-fifth of the total transactions among the top ten list.

Thndr recorded a record trading value of 21.414 billion EGP, capturing a market share of 22.3%. This was achieved through the trading of 5.986 billion shares executed across 861,917 transactions.

Hermes Securities Brokerage ranked second with a trading value of 7.982 billion EGP and an 8.3% market share, with a trading volume of 2.320 billion shares across 92,731 transactions.

Al Ahly Pharos Securities Brokerage took third place, recording a trading value of 7.207 billion EGP and a 7.5% market share, after trading 364.521 million shares through 26,159 transactions.

MubasherTrade (Securities and Bonds Brokerage) came in fourth with a trading value reaching 7.126 billion EGP, acquiring a 7.4% market share, and a trading volume of 2.421 billion shares across 137,364 transactions.

In fifth place came Ostool Securities Brokerage with a trading value of 6.622 billion EGP and a 6.9% market share, trading 2.588 billion shares and executing 105,353 transactions. It was followed by Aspire Capital in sixth place, recording a trading value of 6.329 billion EGP and a 6.6% market share, with a trading volume of 2.093 billion shares through 91,437 transactions.

Cairo Capital Securities came in seventh with a trading value of 5.630 billion EGP and a 5.9% market share, trading 1.534 billion shares and executing 53,134 transactions.

Beltone Securities Brokerage ranked eighth with its trading value reaching 4.826 billion EGP, acquiring a 5% market share, and a trading volume of 1.598 billion shares across 52,464 transactions.

Commercial International Brokerage Company (CIBC) secured the ninth position with a trading value of 4.591 billion EGP and a 4.8% market share, trading 1.474 billion shares through 54,461 transactions.

Tycoon Securities Brokerage came in tenth, recording a trading value of 3.926 billion EGP and a market share of 4.1%, after trading 1.368 billion shares through the execution of 76,458 transactions.
