Egypt\u2019s government has denied any intention to implement electricity load-shedding or to pass the burden of rising oil prices onto citizens, clarifying that no such decisions have been made.<\/p>\n

In a phone interview with the \u201cModern MTI\u201d television channel on Friday evening, Cabinet spokesperson Mohamed Adel emphasized the importance of verifying the accuracy of information circulating regarding the energy sector.<\/p>\n

Energy prices are a significant issue for both citizens and investors, Adel said, given their direct impact on economic activities and production costs.<\/p>\n

He emphasized the importance of referring to full statements and official sources, rather than relying on fragmented clips that could lead to a misunderstanding of the government\u2019s positions\u2014particularly regarding the energy sector.<\/p>\n

Adel noted that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has stressed the need to confront rumors and counter misinformation<\/a>\u2014a point also underscored by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly\u2014as part of the state\u2019s commitment to clarifying the facts for its citizens.<\/p>\n

The government is managing the issue of energy conservation in light of current developments and challenges, Adel assured, while highlighting the importance of verifying information before sharing it\u2014especially given that this issue directly impacts citizens, as well as activities within the investment and industrial sectors.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
