The programme is part of efforts to promote financial literacy in line with the state\u2019s efforts in this area.<\/p>\n<p>The launch reflects the banking sector\u2019s role in advancing financial inclusion, in line with the directives of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), Egypt Vision 2030, and the Sustainable Development Goals. The programme offers comprehensive content on the role of financial services in improving people\u2019s lives, supporting small businesses, and encouraging saving and investment.<\/p>\n<p>It also focuses on financial literacy and its contribution to economic stability, as well as financial inclusion as a tool for reducing poverty and expanding access to formal financial services.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the programme highlights the CBE\u2019s role and its focus on the importance of financial technology and digital services in reshaping the financial landscape. It also addresses customer protection and the empowerment of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).<\/p>\n<p>The launch ceremony was attended by a number of senior executives and officials from CIB and the CBE, including Omar El-Husseiny, Group Chief Executive Officer of Financial Markets; Yasser Abdella, Deputy CEO of Retail Banking and Financial Inclusion; Mohamed El-Sennary, Head of Human Resources; and Sally Abdel Kader, General Manager of the CBE\u2019s Financial Literacy Department.<\/p>\n<p>The training programme targets students, young professionals, bankers, and entrepreneurs.
