A high-ranking Iranian official told Reuters that Iran would stop its attacks if the United States did the same, after Washington suspended its air campaign amid fears of depleting its military arsenal.<\/p>\n

During Monday’s trading, Brent crude futures contracts fell by 7%, falling below $90 per barrel. This led to a decline in the shares of European energy companies by 2%, joining public utilities in the losing sectors during the session.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the travel and entertainment sector led the market gains with an increase of 2.4%, supported by the improvement in the prospects of airlines due to the decline in fuel costs, as \u201cLufthansa\u201d shares rose by 3.7%, and \u201cRyan Air\u201d shares increased by 3.4%.<\/p>\n

This week, the markets are awaiting the quarterly business results of major American technology companies, such as Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, and Apple, to determine the continuity of the momentum led by the artificial intelligence sector in the financial markets.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
