Security authorities in Cairo on Monday apprehended a content creator for posting videos on her social media pages showing her dancing in indecent attire.
The General Administration for the Protection of Public Morals, part of the Specialized Police Sector, spotted the content creator’s activities.
Following the necessary legal procedures, she was arrested in Nasr City, eastern Cairo.
Two mobile phones were found in her possession; upon examination, they were found to contain evidence confirming her criminal activity.
When confronted, she admitted to posting the aforementioned videos on her social media pages to increase viewership and generate financial profit.
