The New Cairo Court will hold its first hearing on Sunday in the lawsuit filed by Amr Faragallah, Mohamed Salah’s former lawyer, demanding payment for legal and administrative services he claims to have provided to the player.

The court scheduled Sunday’s hearing for Salah to appear in person and take the oath, the wording of which was determined.
The oath includes a denial that the former lawyer performed the services in question or that the player owes him any money.
Effect of Absence
The court clarified that Salah’s failure to appear, or his refusal to take the oath without a valid excuse, constitutes a breach of oath and entails the legal consequences stipulated by law.

The details of the lawsuit date back to September 2015, where the former lawyer bases his claim on an official power of attorney issued to him by Mohamed Salah in 2012.
He is demanding financial compensation for legal and administrative work he claims to have performed on behalf of the player.
