EgyptAir, the national flag carrier of Egypt, operated a special flight (MS3009) to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, carrying Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and a high-level ministerial delegation to attend the historic inauguration of the Julius Nyerere Hydropower Project.
“Two Nations, One Dream”: A Message of Unity
Marking the strategic importance of the occasion, EgyptAir deployed a specially branded aircraft bearing the slogan “Two Nations, One Dream” alongside the Egyptian and Tanzanian flags, symbolizing the deep-rooted bilateral ties and historic cooperation between both nations.
The aircraft’s cabin featured tailored welcome amenities, and passengers were presented with a documentary video detailing the construction phases of the landmark dam, highlighting it as a premier Egyptian achievement on African soil.
Strategic Partnership Powered by Egyptian Expertise
The Julius Nyerere Dam and Hydropower Project stands as one of the largest developmental ventures across the African continent. Constructed entirely by Egyptian hands and expertise via a joint venture between Arab Contractors and Elsewedy Electric, the project underscores the advanced engineering capabilities of Egyptian firms in delivering mega infrastructure initiatives.
This milestone operation reinforces EgyptAir’s pivotal role in bolstering Egyptian-African relations by delivering specialized logistical support for high-level official delegations and major state events.
