
CAIRO – The Export Development Bank of Egypt (EBank) announced in an official disclosure to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Wednesday that the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) holds a 19.80% stake in the bank’s shares, reflecting the ownership structure as of June 30, 2026.
The regulatory filing detailed that NBE directly owns approximately 269.27 million shares. Furthermore, the statement indicated that the total number of shares held by related groups—specifically “NBE Portfolio 2,” which is managed by Al Ahly Financial Investment Management (AFIM)—amounts to roughly 3.25 million shares.
This announcement aligns with the ongoing commitment of major shareholders and related parties to periodically disclose their equity stakes and voting rights in securities representing the capital of EGX-listed companies, in strict compliance with applicable listing and disclosure regulations.
